Each year, ICCA honors cheerleaders and coaches with special recognition. Senior cheerleaders can apply for scholarships. Junior and senior athletes have the opportunity to be on the All-State Cheer Team. Coaches can nominate 8th grade and senior athletes on their squad to be honored as a scholar athlete because of their academic achievement.
Entry DEADLINES are listed below:
- Entry deadline for Scholarships, All-State, Scholar Athletes, and Unsung Hero are due November 30.
- ICCA members can nominate a coach for the Coach of the Year award, which is awarded in March at the Coaches Conference. Deadline is January 15.
Hall of Fame
Hall of Fame awards are given in recognition to individuals excelling and supporting cheerleading in the state of Illinois through the Illinois Cheerleading Coaches Association. Individuals can enter the Hall of Fame in recognition as a Coach, member of the Board of Directors or as an Official. ICCA Board members nominate these individuals and voting takes place through the Board of Directors.
